ABSTRACT

Resumo Discute o aborto pelas perspectivas de mulheres internadas em uma maternidade pública de Salvador (BA). Enfatiza a observação participante do cotidiano do hospital e descreve trabalho de campo com técnicas de pesquisa qualitativa e quantitativa. Por perspectiva etnográfica, aborda a experiência hospitalar de mulheres diante da interrupção, voluntária ou não, da gravidez e apresenta o ponto de vista dos profissionais de saúde, argumentando que a forma pela qual a instituição estrutura a atenção ao aborto e os processos de simbolização a ela imbricados afetam profundamente as experiências das mulheres. Aponta que a discriminação contra as mulheres que abortam está integrada a estrutura, organização e cultura institucionais, e não apenas a ações individuais dos profissionais.


Abstract The article discusses abortion and miscarriage from the perspective of women admitted to a public maternity hospital in Salvador (BA), Brazil. Based on qualitative and quantitative research, it draws on participant observation of everyday hospital life. Taking an ethnographic approach, it addresses the hospital experiences of women who had miscarriages or induced abortions, also presenting the views of health professionals. It argues that the way the institution structures care for abortion and miscarriage involves symbolic processes that profoundly affect women’s experiences. The discrimination against women who have had abortions/miscarriages is an integral part of the structure, organization and culture of these institutions, and does not derive solely from the individual actions of healthcare personnel.

ABSTRACT

En este artículo se presenta un modelo de análisis de las transformaciones psíquicas que tienen lugar en el tratamiento psicopedagógico de niños y adolescentes con problemas de aprendizaje. Los cambios observables en la producción simbólica de estos sujetos (modos de narrar, leer, escribir, dibujar) permiten ponderar modificaciones de procesos psíquicos subyacentes, tales como los modos de elaborar conflictos, las formas que adquiere la relación entre la tramitación afectiva y la actividad representativa, y las modalidades preferenciales que toman las tendencias selectivas en relación a la apropiación de los objetos de conocimiento. La construcción de estas dimensiones de estudio posibilita una mejor aproximación a las transformaciones en los procesos de simbolización que tienen lugar en la particularidad de este encuadre terapéutico, a través del diseño de mediaciones conceptuales e indicadores clínicos específicos que explicitan las modificaciones resultantes de la intervención terapéutica.


This article presents an analysis of psychical changes during psychopedagogical treatment in children and adolescents who suffer from learning disorders. Changes seen in symbolic production (talking, drawing, writing and reading modes) allow to know about some transformations in psychical processes such as the ways of solving conflicts, the relationship between afective tramitation and representation activity and the prefered ways of relation with knowledge and social objects in order to learn and apropiate new subjects. These dimensions improve the study of symbolization processes and transformations that take place in this specifical setting, through the design of theoretical contribuitions and clinical descriptors that make able to know therapeutic results in psychopedagogical treatment.
